Ventilating System and Sludge

Water in the crankcase quickly evaporates when the vehicle is driven a long distance each time it starts. The crankcase ventilating system removes the water vapor and no formation of sludge. Remember one thing sludge formation is mostly occurs when the engine operates cold most of the time. For example taking car reach office which is less than 3 miles and again back home. This will never allows the engine to warm up and reach normal operating temperature. The water remains in the oil and forms sludge. Thus the sludge is formed in the engine.
