Suu Kyi- A great revolutionary

As a pro-democratic activist in the military led Burma government, Suu Kyi was elected as prime minister in 1990's but is in house arrest for over a decade by the military Junta government. Though she won the general election in 1990, the military government never accepted it and canceled the elections. She is the daughter of Aung San, a renowned Burmese freedom fighter She graduated in India and worked in US for about three years. She returned to Burma during 1988 and took part in rallies against the military government and its atrocities towards people . She follows non-violent principles and received Nobel Peace Prize in 9991.
