Jeffrey archer is one of the most renowned novelists, who enthrall the readers with his ebullient writing skills. Though his genre of novels can be just classified as revenge based, his bestowed talent of depicting the characters and his interesting style of writing are reasons for his novels becoming best-sellers. With resemblance to his novel, his personal life is also controversial. He started his career as a financial assistant, later elected as a member of house, but was dethroned for his financial ideology. His first novel was “not a penny more, not a penny less” and was followed by “Kane and Abel”. Both proved to be best sellers. Controversies followed him and he was sentenced to 2 years imprisonment in a debt case. With his prison experience he wrote “The Prison Diary” in three parts all proving to be best-sellers. “Paths of Glory “,”Prisoner of Birth” is his other masterpieces.
