Known for his best-seller thriller novels Fredrick Forsyth was born in 1938, to a furrier . He started his carrier as a air-force pilot at 19 and then switched over to journalism. Based on his research techniques in journalism he decided to write a novel. His first novel “The Day of the Jackal” became an international best-seller. This was followed by “The Odessa File” which gave him a good recognition among readers. His other works include “The dogs of war”,”The devil's alternative”,”Fist of god” which had a theme of real-life political rivalry between nations with his own imagination. All his novels are based on any of real life organizations and events that are slightly modified . His novels are famous for its technical details on money laundering , creating fake IDs etc.,.Many of his novels have been made into films.
