As a British filmmaker Alfred Hitchcock , is well known for his thriller and horror films which mostly had a suspense in it. He introduced many new techniques in film-making with novel ideas during his peak years of 1950's . In his span of over five decades, he directed over 50 films ,which are very well known for Hitchcock's trademark in filming a suspense genre. He moved towards Hollywood, after his success in British films, and his innovative techniques in the fields of cinematography and editing, gained stupendous responses from the audience. The film “Psycho” is considered as his masterpiece.
