Shahjahan- A great architect

One of the greatest rulers of Mughal Empire is the king Shahjahan. He succeeded the mughal king Jahangir. Even though he made several improvements in his empire, he was known for something else. He is known for building the greatest sign for love, the Taj Mahal. It is one of the Seven Wonders of the World. This greatest architecture was built for his wife, Mumtaz and the building shows the love for the women. He also built several other great buildings like Jama Masjid, Moti Masjid, Pearl Mosque and several other palaces. His reign is thus considered as a golden age of Mughal Architecture.
